Founder
Hi, I'm Alisha! I am the owner and founder of Ruff Road Rescue. I have been involved with rescues for about 6 years and have finally decided it was time to start my own! My passion for bully breed dogs began when I got my first American Pit Bull Terrier in 2004, HoneyBear. I want this rescue to show the public that "Bully" breed dogs do not need to be feared, but understood.
Foster & Volunteer Coordinator/ Website Design
I'm Tori, the foster & volunteer coordinator for Ruff Road Rescue. I have been with Ruff Road Rescue since the beginning. I got involved in rescue 3 years ago when I adopted my first rescue dog, a Boston Terrier named Evie. I then adopted a 2nd family member Ripley. I didn't even own a pit bull when I started volunteering with Ruff Road, but that changed once I adopted my long term foster (pictured above) named Pippi.
Event Coordinator
I am Kathryn and I am the Event/ Fundraising Coordinator for Ruff Road Rescue. I have had a love of animals for my entire life and pit bulls have been my passion for many years now. I have been with the rescue for about a year and a half now. My husband and I have three rescue dogs of our own - Salvador Arturo, Bella and Monster. I feel privledged to call them my best friends and will gladly work the rest of my life to advocate for and rescue as many as possible.
